Accesing to the CD filesystem slows down mouse's cursor and cannot read contents of binary files from CD, also I cannot read from floppy
btw, is there any advance of DVD's filesystem formerly UDF?

I was using QEMU Actually, I did use QEMU to test it, Since I cannot boot directly with my laptop (it's a CoreDuo with a SATA HD).
I used an ISO image so it cannot be a damaged disk.

Dear comrade, that you earlier have not told, what the system was started in QEMU?
I know about this feature of the emulator. On real computers all works without problems, but in the emulator it is better to CD and DVD to not access.
I have large doubt, that QEMU correctly handles some ATAPI commands.

Thank you for your reply, maybe I should use another emulator, to fully test Kolibri, since KolibriInWin is not as an OS itself.
I tried using InnoTek VirtualBox but without success, now I'm looking for Bochs, VMWare and VirtualPC (this last one I have tested with Menuet a long time ago and haven't work, now I hope it works, it was when Micro...ft was not the owner yet).
PS: My old PC just passed away.. he he, I guess it was a heart attack!!!

I hope for «old PC» there were no children (or other close relatives) and under the law all his things belongs to you. ;-)
