Sad to admit, but 32-bit isn't fading as fast... ...so it is still important to have at least this kind of support ;) And there's another trick - people hanging around 32-bit part often stumble upon the 64-bit part too so...do the math yourself :D I like this - lets all be merry and friendly! my $0.02

:P....this is kind of funny ... i don't mean anything, but ... seems some people "can" admit they were wrong  ...

Well Madis731, I guess that's one possible future. Another would be that Ville shot himself in the foot over and over again and few care about his project any more and one day a 64 Bit OS will be popular that won't be Menuet64 because that will be long dead due to lack of interest. It's not as if there's no other 64 bit Asm OS being developed, check Brendan's BCOS. http://bcos.zapto.org/index.html BCOS is well documented, open source and Brendan is helpful to anyone in need of help and can be found on the http://www.mega-tokyo.com/forum/index.php?board=1 forum. I'm impressed with the good will developed here at this forum in such a short time with different ASM OSes coming together to help each other out. Long may it last! I ask, who would be interested in Menuet64, quite frankly I think Ville's attitude has already began it's demise ...... so how is this for a possible future, menuet64 dies and menuet32 leads to much greater things in development of 64 bit OSes ;) Time to dump that name Menuet once and for all folks!

I must add, if anyone can pull off a great 64bit asm OS, it would be Brendan, not only is he a very talented programmer, but he has away with words, to make complicated topics sound uncomplicated, on top of this he is very helpfull. So menuet64 had better watchout 8). PS: For a OS to succeed, from small beginnings, the people that use the OS, need to feel apart of it and most of all they need to trust the leader of the project, that he/she is not going to 1. Stop the project, before its natural end. 2. Sell the OS, make lots of money, from there hard work (very unlikey). 3. Use the code from a open project and convert it to a closed project.

i recognize that last one, from menuet and skyos.. ;) not sure if it's really killing a project, both skyos and menuetos is alive.

i recognize that last one, from menuet and skyos.. ;) not sure if it's really killing a project, both skyos and menuetos is alive. But i think in Menuet64's case, its the interest in Menuet32 that is keeping people interested in menuet64, kill menuet32 and its the end menuet64, as someone as found out to there cost.
