Ok, So now how do i install "Menuet 32"..??
Well after screwing around with my computer a little bit i discovered that i have ( for some reason ) 7.4 mb's of free space on my hard drive. ( unused logical space ) I think i might just install Menuet to it but, I need to know a few things... #1 How exactly do you install it ( correctly ) so i don't f**k up my computer to the point that it's just a pile of junk??, in other words -- not bootable.. Do i choose option ( 4 ) four on the setup screen.?? #2 Will windows bootloader recognize menuet as another operating system so i can have a dual booting setup.?? #3 Is 7.4 mb's fine to install to.??, Or should i not bother.? #4 How the heck can i get a Screensaver going in menuet.??-- Can i download one.?? Thank you.. :D

i think 7,4 mb is too small to create a FAT32 partition you can change your partition sizes using for example "partition magic" ;) some of menuet's bootloaders: http://menuet.homelinux.net/Booting_from_HD#Boot_from_Windows_2000.2FNT.2FXP EDIT: Kolibri already has a screensaver built in ;)

jason.b.c According to documentation from Microsoft the file system FAT is divided into subtypes 12, 16, 32 only by amount of clusters. 1) FAT12 less than 4085 clusters. 2) FAT16 can contain from 4085 up to 65525 clusters. 3) FAT32 should contain more than 65525 clusters. Minimum cluster size for FAT - 512 Bytes. Minimum partition size FAT32 - 65525*0.5=32762,5 Kb or 32 Mb from here follows, that. Therefore, you can create only FAT16 partition. Minimum partition size FAT16 - 4085*0.5=2042,5 Kb =2Mb. Kolibri OS work with FAT16. There is even a loader for FAT16, look an appropriate subject of this forum. Good luck.

Do you work under Windows? You can install menuet without changing partition table. If you work with Windows 9x/NT/2k/XP+ (not WinMe), use my loader mtldr, which can be found itself in Kolibri 0.5.3.0 distr or can be installed with http://diamondz.land.ru/mtldr_install.exe http://diamondz.land.ru/mtldr_inst_src.rar (if you want sources) mtldr will correct some system files (boot.ini for NT/2k/XP, config.sys for 9x) such that Windows loader will dual-boot. For any Windows, you can also reboot to Menuet without modifying anything, only menuet.img is needed; use 9x2klbr (9x/Me) or nt2klbr (NT/2k/XP+), http://shade.msu.ru/~msu-se/9x2klbr.7z http://shade.msu.ru/~msu-se/nt2klbr.7z
