You must edit menuet.img file by eg. WinImage, or copy files to ram drive and use rdsave. To add programs to menu you must edit MENU.DAT by eg. notepad. Good luck!

if you have menuetos on a floppy, it's as simple as downlaoding the applications (from windows), eventually extract them if they are in.7z or .rar or . zip format etc
then copy the binary to the floppy
you can open it then from systree, files will be in RD

I don't think they'll fit on the disk, not enough space..!
GOOD LUCK..? Why .? Is it that hard to do..??

copy them straight to your a: drive if you're in windows ;)
no, its not that hard
if you need more space, you may want to delete things as the 3d maze program ..
btw, you only need to copy the binary file (the file thas has no extension) in order to run (you dont need to copy the .asm files)

For what you need to copy additional programs on main RD the disk?
All applications can be started with the help SYSXTREE from the hard disk, if you have partition FAT32 or FAT 16.
If you do not have such partitions on the hard disk, you can write files to anyone Floppy Disk 1,44 Mb and after loading Kolibri it is possible to change diskettes in the drive, because the host disk is copied in memory as RD and diskette (from which you loaded OS) already is not necessary any more.
Thus, you can place on other diskettes all programs, necessary to you.
Good luck.

I'm not quite sure what you mean.?
We're/I'm not talking about Kolibri OS, but 32 bit Menuet OS.
Can the disk be removed from the A:\ drive with menuet after it has been loaded to ram.??
And where's the sysxtree.??? Is that kind of like windows explorer.??
I haven't seen anything like that. :?

OK. I have not understood, that you speak about MenuetOS. Very much frequently people use the name Menuet, thus a name in view of Kolibri.
All that I have told in the previous post fairly for KolibriOS.
SYSXTREE is both in MenuetOS and in KolibriOS.
When I name the application by a specific name, that, in my opinion, it is not required to name it as other name. SYSXTREE it is the file manager and it is named SYSXTREE.
Good luck.

I still can't quite figure this one out.! , I copied a bunch of stuff over to a spare floppy disk and then i put in my menuet disk and booted up , After the system started i put the other disk in with the other programs on it so i could run them.
I then went into sysxtree in attempt to browse over to the floppy drive, I couldn't do it, i thyen tried everything else that i could think of but to no avail.!! , So then how in the heck do i access the floppy and cd rom drives..??
There is also this other thing that asks me to specify path to source file but everytime i type in A:/("filename") .asm or whatever i always get an error message..

you have to copy the files to the menuetos disk...
else you will have to use kolibri instead ;)
