SVN 593 - Windows' have no privacy
Hi, there is a problem with windows, maybe you didn't notice yet. Well, the fact is that some apps that use the mouse's events don't figure out they are not the current active app. An example: when I open KFM and then open the IMAGE editor to draw; if I click over a place (in IMAGE EDITOR) which is exactly the same position of an application in the KFM's list and double click over that place that application executes, even when I'm using IMAGE EDITOR, so KFM responses as if I were using KFM; and viceversa.

vhanla Soon I put in net fix version KFM. Wait. This mistake appears in KFM not only, but also in the other applications.

Yes, that's true. Another apps do also have the same bug, maybe it's something related to mouse/window where it can be fixed. Regards

vhanla The reason is mouse input model from Menuet, inherited by Kolibri: when anything happens with mouse, the system simply says to all applications that something has happened. Therefore the application which processes mouse events must check itself whether its window is active. The check which was used in old versions of KFM had broken in new kernels, so use new version of KFM.

So, anyone who writes a prog that uses mouse has to figure it out in order to avoid unpredictable behaviour of their app. BTW: It could be great to post a sample for those who don't know how to; like me.
