It will... cause if you port menuetos to another paltaform then it will be another operative system, not the same, it happens to me that when i rewrite my code, i make it complete different...
you can port a C based kernel... just port the compiler and change a few things... but when you port to another plataform something written in asembly, is my opinion that it's not the same thing
