Tinypad 4.0 is out. There're some non-critical features missing (like integration with DOCPAK, options editing, vertical aka block selection ability, goto position), but in all other aspects it's fully-functional. Tinypad has a bug
Hello mikedld, I've seen a bug in this version... Tinypad runs perfectly when run the first time (i.e. everytime I re-start KolibriOS 0.53); the first time it runs perfectly, but then I close and Tinypad don't start anymore... until KolibriOS is restarted BTW: Good program :P

Could you tell me please what's written on debug board at the moment when Tinypad terminates? Also I had to notice that you need at least Kolibri 0.5.1.0 in order to run Tinypad4.

Noticed the same bug running on 0.5.3.0

And no output on debug board? Hell, guys, let's be serious :-P

Maybe config file get screwed when exiting? Did you guys save changes to floppy (or harddisk) on exit ? I'll probably try it out tomorrow..

I can only guess what's the problem. On close, Tinypad saves its position and options into itself, so there's no additional config files. It gets its own path, passed by OS on start, and saves its memory starting from <0> address and with size of executable size. For that purpose, all options are located in initialized data area. So the only problem could be is that is saves incorrectly. Maybe some specific data gets saved when it shouldn't, but I can only determine that if I have address in program where it failed, which is written on debug board on program terminate. That's why I'm asking for it. Thanks.

When I close Tynipad with System's CLOSE Button i.e. (x) button, Tynipad closes well and runs again when needed. However, when using FILE->CLOSE ALT+X it doesn't run anymore until next kernel restart. PS: ALT+<KEY> don't work, COMBO keys don't work in Kolibri 0.53. Debug board don't show anything ...
