Welcome to Russian forum!
Hey, guys! You are welcome to Russian forum of developers Kolibri OS( http://meos.sysbin.com)! Let's work together. You can talk in english - we'll understand! ;) I think, it is very sad, when you don't know about our works and we don't know nothing about your works :(

Thank you! :) I'll be glad to visit the KolibriOS Forum

...and in case that english readers want to check out the russian written things, here are the babelfish translated forums: http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/trurl_pagecontent?lp=ru_en&trurl=http%3a%2f%2fmeos.sysbin.com%2findex.php%3fsid%3d08abfac4ce121190ec488042f408a985

Thanks for the offer, translator does not do a good job. Here's a topic on my OS (Dex4u OS). http://board.sysbin.com/viewtopic.php?t=909 But the translator makes it harder to read

Thanks heavyiron. Indeed I've wanted to discuss things with Diamond about all his magnificent work but always thought it would be disrespectful to post English in a Russian forum. It'll be cool if Diamond would come here and say hello and post links to his work. He knows English doesn't he as his code is commented in English? Anyway I'm sure there are many other Russian coders to learn from so thanks for your offer. Regards Michael H

Do you want to see full list? Emulator KlbrInWin - fast emulator for Menuet/Kolibri programs on Windows http://shade.msu.ru/~msu-se/KlbrInWin.7z (binary) http://shade.msu.ru/~msu-se/KlbrInWin_src.rar (sources) VirtualKolibri (for Windows NT/2k/XP+) - uses KlbrInWin to emulate the whole distributive (should work not only with Kolibri, but with Menuet too) http://shade.msu.ru/~msu-se/VirtualKolibri.exe (binary) http://shade.msu.ru/~msu-se/VirtualKolibri.asm (source) Loaders mtldr - loader for Windows users. At moment only mtldr supports NTFS. http://shade.msu.ru/~msu-se/mtldr.rar (binary+sources) 9x2klbr - (for Windows 9x/Me) unloads Windows and loads Menuet/Kolibri instead http://shade.msu.ru/~msu-se/9x2klbr.7z (binary) http://shade.msu.ru/~msu-se/9x2klbr_sou.rar (binary+sources) nt2klbr - (for Windows NT/2k/XP+) unloads Windows and loads Menuet/Kolibri instead http://shade.msu.ru/~msu-se/nt2klbr.7z (binary) http://shade.msu.ru/~msu-se/nt2klbr_sou.7z (binary+sources) Packer MtApPack - best packer for Menuet/Kolibri Windows version: (cross-platform) http://shade.msu.ru/~msu-se/mtappack.exe (binary) http://shade.msu.ru/~msu-se/mtappack_src.rar (sources) Kolibri version: (native) http://shade.msu.ru/~msu-se/mtappack (binary) http://shade.msu.ru/~msu-se/mtappack_kolibri_src.rar (sources) Debugger mtdbg - Kolibri native debugger (you need Kolibri 0.5.3.0 distro) http://shade.msu.ru/~msu-se/mtdbg (binary) http://shade.msu.ru/~msu-se/mtdbg.7z (sources) (Thanks to halyavin for hosting.)

Hello diamond Where to start? Thankyou doesn't seem enough as you've been such an effluent on my learning. When I first looked at your code I though ?????? :) Having learnt the fasm way with macros all over the place I didn't understand why someone of your talent pushed everything onto the stack one at a time, why you thunked everything for imports etc etc. It forced me to go study the PE format closer and understand what a thunk really was. You've taught me so much .... thankyou very much. Everyone, if you haven't downloaded and studied the links posted by Diamond, you're really missing something. Loaders that boot from NTFS :O , an amazing emulator, a debugger (yay), VirtualKolibri is so cool and will teach you how to create new windows desktops ..... if after looking at the VirtualKolibri code you don't think, wow that means I can ...... then you're missing something. I'll leave it at that Diamond and not ask you question just yet as I feel people here should get an understanding (if they haven't already) of all the stuff you've posted. Total respect Michael H

The VirtualKolibri is awesome. 8) These look very nice diamond. :)

Cool stuff diamond, thanks.

I forgot kiwntf - make KlbrInWin on NT-systems Faster http://shade.msu.ru/~msu-se/kiwntf.rar (binary) http://shade.msu.ru/~msu-se/kiwntf_src.rar (sources) Simply unpack exe and driver to one folder and run exe. KlbrInWin will be faster (until system reboot). New mtdbg version (needs last kernel): http://webfile.ru/902319 (sources+binary+last kernel) I said that "only mtldr supports NTFS". 9x2klbr/nt2klbr are based on mtldr and therefore support NTFS too.
